Story

Prior to founding Ethical Capital Partners, he launched exSell Capital to originate securitisation funding warehouses for bank and non-bank lenders, taking an approach that he witnessed was lacking from among the usual suspects.

Prior, a chief operating officer at peak body, the Australian Securitisation Forum, he managed and negotiated policy formulation within and between industry and government and regulators.

Alex began his career in politics, with a degree in politics and philosophy, and as an intern researcher and eventually political adviser to several British MPs - including Tony Blair - both in Opposition and in Government.

Stephen Condon is an Australian European financial markets expert. He served in leadership roles at the UK Financial Services Authority, UK Asset Resolution (UKAR) and investment banks.

Specialising in structured finance, treasury and risk management, Stephen’s focus is to provide insight and guidance financial institutions looking to improve and diversify their capital markets performance. Specifically, in the domains of capital and balance sheet optimisation, measurement, stress-testing and reporting of banking and trading books, and structuring and arranging structured finance transactions.

Stephen has written on and implemented structured finance policy within UK and Basel environments and managed large performing and non-performing portfolios for UK institutions.

Stephen leverages his European experience to provide alternative thinking and methods for participants in Australian markets, for domestic and international capital market clients.
